Soaring food prices lead to inflation rise of 4.6% in July

The Consumer Price Index (CPI), the Central Statistics Office’s (CSO) main measure of inflation, rose by 4.6 per cent in the 12 months to July this year. Inflation increased by 0.2 per cent month on month from June.
