Smurfit Kappa posts €2.7bn revenues as WestRock merger nears completion

Smurfit Kappa posted €2.7 billion in revenues in its first quarter update.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) at the Irish paper and packaging giant, were €487 million in the first quarter of the year, leading to a marginal contraction of margins to 18 per cent from 18.5 per cent in its 2023 full-year results.
