SMEs turning to social media to boost online sales as Irish e-commerce booms

Half of Irish SMEs believe social media will drive more e-commerce sales over the next year, according to new An Post figures

Half of Irish SMEs believe their social media channels will likely drive more e-commerce sales over the next 12 months.

The figure is up from 41 per cent in May, according to the latest An Post eCommerce Index.

As part of the increased emphasis on e-commerce, 45 per cent of SMEs said they will invest in their digital assets in the next year, up from 35 per cent in May.
