The government has run out of places to accommodate international protection applicants, a spokesman for the Department of Integration has confirmed.

Due to a severe shortage of accommodation spaces, the department said no further accommodation would be provided for the time being, but that tents and sleeping bags would be given to those who may have to sleep rough.
