Siún Ní Raghallaigh resigns as chair of RTÉ board
Resignation follows media minister Catherine Martin’s comments on RTÉ’s PrimeTime programme
Siún Ní Raghallaigh, the chair of the board of RTÉ, has resigned.
In a statement, Ní Raghallaigh said it was “abundantly clear” that she no longer had the confidence of Catherine Martin, the media minister.
“My resignation is a source of sadness to me, but it is unavoidable,” she said in a statement.
