Sinn Féin would tax the Irish people fairly and spend those taxes wisely if elected to office, its finance spokesman Pearse Doherty has said.
In a speech to the Dublin Economics Workshop on Friday, Doherty outlined his party's priorities are housing and childcare.
Doherty sought to counter media suggestions that the party is abandoning its left-wing policies to move to the centre, saying the centre "has moved decisively towards Sinn Féin."
