What would Sinn Féin do about neutrality?

Matt Carthy, the Sinn Féin spokesman on foreign affairs and defence, says the party would hold a referendum on enshrining neutrality in Bunreacht na hÉireann.

Carthy said such a move would require a citizens’ assembly to “agree a framework and wording for a provision” in the Constitution and to decide on an “overarching set of principles” with broad political and public support.
