Sinn Féin will introduce three-year rent ban if elected, claims Mary Lou McDonald

Sinn Féin will introduce a three-year ban on rent increases, if elected to government, its President Mary Lou McDonald has said.

In her key-note Ard Fheis speech in Athlone last night, McDonald said

the stark choice facing voters at the next election is between a worsening housing crisis under this government or a new government, led by Sinn Féin that will fix housing.
