There is a “strong case” to raise the passenger cap at Dublin Airport, Simon Harris has said, describing the aerodrome as critical for the future of Ireland’s economy.

The Fine Gael minister for higher education said that as an island state, “the issue around genuine airline connectivity is really important to our economic future”.
