‘Significant progress’ made in rollout of National Broadband Plan, politicians to hear

Almost 64,000 homes and businesses across the country will have access to high-speed internet through the National Broadband Plan by the end of tomorrow, according to the company delivering the multi-billion-euro project.

National Broadband Ireland (NBI) will today tell politicians that “significant progress has been made” since January with “real momentum” now behind the rollout of the project which aims to deliver high-speed broadband to more than 540,000 premises across the country.
