Shake-up of top team at Davy as Bank of Ireland takes over

After €593m takeover of stockbroker, staff shake-up is seen as attempt to gain a toehold at the firm

A significant shake-up of the senior leadership team at Davy stockbrokers is under way as the firm adjusts to life as part of the Bank of Ireland group, the Business Post has learned.

Karena O’Sullivan, director of finance, strategy and transformation at Bank of Ireland, is set to take up a position as acting head of finance with Davy after its current chief financial officer, Joe Ryan, signalled his intention to step down.
