Setanta and Premier Sports founder Mickey O’Rourke doubles down on investment in Joe Media

Industry sources estimate O’Rourke has invested approximately €10 million to build up his stake in the business and to provide funding for acquisitions

Mickey O’Rourke, the founder of both Setanta and Premier Sports, has doubled down on his investment in Joe Media Group, the Business Post has learned.

O’ Rourke’s TDL Media originally invested in the company in late 2020, taking a 10 per cent stake in the firm after Greencastle Media Group bought it out of administration. He has now acquired a further stake in Joe in a deal that sees David Sefton’s Linton Capital exiting the ...
