Savills calls for 9% VAT rate for construction sector
Property agency recommended a slew of measures ahead of next week’s budget as new housing supply falls ‘critically behind demand’
Savills has asked the government to change key policies to tackle the housing crisis in next week’s budget.
The property agency Savills urged the state to temporarily reduce the construction VAT Rate, increase the Help-to-Buy Scheme and provide more resources for data services in a bid to stimulate the delivery of new homes.
