A sanctioned Russian state-owned leasing business is fighting to prevent Irish liquidators from seizing 37 planes worth an estimated $2 billion after the High Court ruled in their favour last year.

Joint Stock Company GTLK (JSC), the parent company of the GTLK Europe group, recently lodged papers with the Court of Appeal seeking to overturn an order granted in December.
