Ryanair posts record profits as traffic rises above pre-Covid levels

The airline said there was huge pent-up demand for travel after lockdowns

Ryanair has recorded over €200 million in profits for the final three months of 2022, citing a pent-up demand for travel as a result of the Covid pandemic.

The Irish airline said it earned €211 million in the three months to the end of December, the third quarter of its financial year. This was well above the €88 million it earned in the final three months of 2019.
