Ryanair carries 12.2 million passengers in January

Ryanair operated over 70,000 flights in January but 950 were cancelled due to the Israel/Gaza conflict

Ryanair carried 12.2 million passengers last month, up 3 per cent year on year.

The airline’s load factor – that is the number of seats filled on a flight – was 89 per cent, down from 91 per cent in the corresponding month last year, according to a statement from the group.

Ryanair said it operated over 71,700 flights in January, however, it added that over 950 flights were cancelled due to the Israel/Gaza conflict.
