Rural property inflation remains ahead of Dublin price growth

New CSO data shows that residential property prices grew 5.4 per cent in the year to January

Property prices rose by 5.4 per cent on average in the year leading up to January 2024, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

Prices in Dublin rose at a slower rate than those outside the capital, increasing 4.5 per cent, compared with 6.1 per cent for the rest of the country.

The median property price for homes bought in the 12 months to January is €330,000.
