RTÉ must set out timeline for reforms before future funding model can be agreed - Martin

Media minister Catherine Martin has said the government intends make a decision on the future funding model for RTÉ before the Dáil summer recess on July 11.

The findings of three government-commissioned probes into RTÉ have been published today, which have highlighted governance shortcomings and a “lack of trust” culture within the organisation.
