Two RTÉ board members "raised concerns" about proposals to sign off on the broadcaster’s 2022 financial accounts while an investigation into secret payments made to Ryan Tubridy was ongoing, new board meeting minutes have shown.
In May, the month prior to revelations of secret payments to presenter Ryan Tubridy between 2017 and 2022, records show that the board discussed an internal audit of the organisation.
