RTÉ admits ‘serious breach of trust’ in undisclosed payments of €345,000 to Ryan Tubridy
In an email to Montrose staff this afternoon, RTÉ chair Siún Ní Raghallaigh said “the coming days and weeks will be difficult for all of us”
RTÉ has confirmed that it under declared payments to Ryan Tubridy, the former host of the Late Late Show, by €120,000 between 2017 and 2019. Tubridy’s earnings for 2020, 2021 and 2022 were also under reported. In total, RTÉ under reported Tubridy’s earnings by €345,000 over the six year period.
