A €200 million upgrade of one of the “worst sections of primary road in the country” is likely to be delayed by more than a year, due to the contractor going into receivership.
Roadbridge had started work on the 34km N5 Ballaghaderreen to Scramoge road project in Roscommon last January, with the aim of completing it within three years.
