The Department of Integration didn’t pay more than €100 million owed to contractors, such as providers of refugee accommodation, on time in the first three months of this year.

As a result of late payments, the state has been forced to pay out more than €800,000 in penalties to providers of services for refugees since the beginning of 2022.
