The “robustness” of online financial services needs to be assessed in the wake of the Bank of Ireland glitch, the Minister for Finance has said.

Yesterday, a glitch relating to Bank of Ireland’s mobile and online banking services allowed customers to gain access to funds beyond those actually in their accounts.
