Galway-based vitamin supplements business gets backing from UK investment firm

Daithí O’Connor, who founded the company in 2011, will remain the majority shareholder of the company

Revive Active, the Irish vitamin supplements business, has secured €12.5 million in equity funding from BGF, a UK-based investment firm.

The Galway-based company was founded by Daithí O’Connor in 2011. It has created a line of vitamin supplements, which are sold in retailers and through the firm’s online store.

Revive Active’s products, manufactured at the company’s facilities in Mullingar, have been used by leading athletes, including football players at Sheffield United and Galway’s GAA teams.
