Residential property prices up 3.6 per cent on last year

The Central Statistics Office found that prices in Dublin rose by 1 per cent and outside Dublin by 5.6 per cent in the year to the end of April

Outside Dublin, house prices were up by 5.9 per cent and apartment prices rose by 1.8 per cent

The rate of average residential property price increases has eased to 3.6 per cent in the year to the end of April, according to the latest national price index from the Central Statistics Office (CS).

This is down from a 4 per cent increase in the year to March 2023 and the high value of 15.1 per cent in the 12 months to February and March 2022.
