Regional divide in disposable income has widened – CSO

New figures show workers in the capital had the highest levels of disposable income in 2021, while those in Donegal had the lowest

Workers in Donegal have on average the lowest disposable income out of any county in Ireland, at €19,253 per person, while those in the capital have the highest, new Central Statistics Office (CSO) data shows.

According to the most recent incomes and regional GDP report - which relates to 2021 - the average worker in Dublin has €27,958 at their disposal that year.
