Red C Poll: Public divided on plans to remove private cars from Dublin city centre
One-third support the proposals to reduce private car access the city centre, one-third oppose, and one-third have no position
The public is broadly split on whether cars should be banned from crossing through parts of Dublin city centre under new plans being advanced by the City Council.
In the new Business Post/Red C Poll, 34 per cent said they would support limiting parts of the quays to public transport only and introducing civic plazas and restrictions, 36 per cent said they would oppose the measures, and 19 per cent were neutral on the matter. ...
