Record-breaking 900,000 passengers travelled through Shannon Airport in first half of 2023
Today’s figures are the highest recorded since 2009
Shannon Airport recorded record-breaking passenger figures during the first six months of 2023, for the first time in over a decade.
The airport, which has been experiencing increased demand for overseas travel since last year, recorded 902,603 passengers from January to June of this year.
This is a 41 per cent increase in the same period last year and a six percent increase on 2018.
