PSNI chief: dissident republicans have information from data breach

The union for PSNI officers said that hundreds of officers fear for their safety

PSNI Chief Constable Simon Byrne has said that dissident republicans are claiming they have information from some of the leak of staff information that includes 200 officers and staff emerged on Wednesday.

Byrne said the priority “has to be remaining alert to the safety and welfare of both officers and staff as we deal with this unprecedented incident”.
