Prospect of Corrib extension increases as local activity intensifies

The Department of Natural Resources confirmed a 15-year exploration licence off the coast of Mayo for Europa Oil and Gas last week. A significant gas find at the Inishkea site could lead to the extension of the Corrib gas field’s operations through a mutual agreement between Corrib operator Vermilion and Europa.
