The Property Services Regulatory Authority decision came following a review of Daft’s Premier Partners programme
The property regulator has cracked down on Daft, the listings website, for giving property agents discounts on their subscription fees if they sold adverts on Daft to vendors.
Real estate agents are required to pay fees to advertise properties on Daft. Their clients can pay additional fees to Daft to gain more prominence for their property on the website.
