Simon Harris will launch a six-week call for proposals on how to support businesses affected by increased labour costs as one of his first measures as taoiseach, the Business Post understands.

But Harris is to come under pressure from within his own party to deliver a mini-budget this summer in response to the mounting costs on doing business, including tax reliefs and other supports.
