Premier League and F1 stars swing in behind Rory McIlroy’s indoor golf league

The Co Down golfer has joined forces with Tiger Woods to launch a new TV-friendly version of the sport

Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods new ventue is due to start next year after a delay caused by the construction of the venue

John Stones, the Manchester City player, and Alex Albon, the Williams F1 driver, have joined Steph Curry, the NBA superstar, in investing in Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods’ new indoor golf league.

The investment is through Apex Capital and will see the sports stars back the San Francisco-based team competing in the new venture known as TGL.
