SSE Renewables, the renewable energy developer, has won planning permission for the onshore infrastructure required for its planned Phase 2 Arklow Bank Wind Park, a proposed €2.5 billion offshore wind project based in the Irish Sea that will, when complete, generate 800MW of renewable wind energy in Ireland.
