Pfizer chief: €1.2 billion Irish investment is just the start

Pfizer will continue to invest in its Irish operations over the coming years beyond the €1.2 billion announced last week, one of the company’s most senior executives has said.

Mike McDermott, chief global supply officer and executive vice-president at the pharmaceutical giant, said the company had a very strong development pipeline for new products, which needed flexible facilities.
