Permanent TSB raises mortgage interest rates

PTSB’s standard variable rate for home loans will increase by 0.35 per cent to 4.3 per cent

Permanent TSB (PTSB) is to raise interest rates on variable mortgages.

The lender’s variable mortgage rates will increase between 0.05 per cent and 0.40 per cent from the end of next month.

The changes follow the European Central Bank’s rate increases totalling 4 per cent over the past 12 months, the bank said in a statement.

PTSB’s standard variable rate (SVR) for home loans will increase by 0.35 per cent to 4.3 per cent.
