People in Republic far more likely to work from home than those in Northern Ireland

Workers in the Republic were significantly more likely to work “mainly from home” than their counterparts in Northern Ireland, new research shows.

The Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) research, which draws on 2022 data, found that 25 per cent of men and women in Ireland worked from home, against 14 per cent of women and 19 per cent of men in the North.
