Aer Lingus pilots reject 8.5 per cent pay rise

Union bosses say the pay offer did not reflect the sacrifices made by pilots to sustain the company during the pandemic

Pilots in Aer Lingus have voted overwhelmingly to reject a pay offer based on the findings of an Aer Lingus Pilot Pay Tribunal.

Some 98 per cent of pilots at the airline who are members of the Irish Air Lines’ Pilots Association (IALPA), a branch of Fórsa trade union, voted against the pay offer.
