Hundreds of OpenAI’s staff have signed an open letter calling on the board to resign after former chief executive Sam Altman was ousted over the weekend, according to reports.

As reported by the Financial Times, more than 500 of 770 employees at the company behind generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and DALL-E have signed the document, including the startup’s co-founder Ilya Sutskever, who informed Altman he was being fired last week.
