Ryanair chief Michael O’Leary has slammed the Italian government’s proposal to cap airfares as “illegal” and “completely unenforceable”.
In an interview with Bloomberg on Tuesday morning, O’Leary threatened to slash the number of flights it operates in and out of the Mediterranean country if the price cap is introduced by the Italian government, which is led by prime minister Giorgia Meloni.
