Oireachtas committee will raise conflict of interest concerns with RTÉ over GAAGo

TG4, Sky and Virgin Media will also be called to testify after the latter criticised the deal

RTÉ will be called on to explain how its commercial relationship with the GAA on the GAAGo platform fits with its public service role at an Oireachtas committee in the coming weeks.

Alan Dillon, a Fine Gael TD and member of the sport and media committee, said that both organisations would be invited as part of a wider examination of sports broadcasting in response to the controversy over GAAGo.
