O’Gorman claims most people are supportive of refugees, despite pressures on system

Roderic O’Gorman has said that the number of refugees and asylum seekers arriving in Ireland is causing “pressure” and making some people “nervous”, but that most of the public are supportive.

The Minister for Integration was responding to a Business Post/Red C poll last week which found that three in four people believe Ireland is taking in too many refugees.
