Senior Department of Health officials have called for “the protection of the privacy rights of members in the workplace” after Stephen Donnelly said that Business Post’s Health Tapes investigation, which revealed financial dysfunction and distrust in the health system, was in the public interest.

The health branch of the Association of Higher and Civil Public Servants (AHCPS) has tabled the motion at its annual conference today.
