Number of female CEOs in Ireland increases – report
Female chairpersons increased to almost 19 per cent
The number of female chief executives (CEOs) in Ireland increased from more than 13 per cent in 2021 to 19 per cent in 2023, according to new figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
In addition, last year one in four members or 25 per cent of boards of directors in Ireland were female, up from almost 22 per cent in 2021.
