NUJ calls on journalists to look into Ireland’s Saudi links

The National Union of Journalists in Ireland has called on Irish media organisations to scrutinise this country’s relationship with Saudi Arabia.

The call comes after Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi went missing on October 2. The Washington Post columnist, who was a strong critic of the Saudi government and royal family, was last seen entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
