NTA warns of ‘imminent threat’ to public transport

Transport body says shortage of mechanics is impacting ability of Dublin Bus to maintain vehicles, while lack of drivers is also affecting bus reliability

The National Transport Authority (NTA) has warned that a “deterioration” in the accuracy of its live timetables and a significant shortage of vehicle mechanics in Dublin are now an “imminent threat” to public transport in the country.
