US investors have been told that Northern Ireland is “open for business” as the region’s political leadership addressed a major event in Washington DC.

Michelle O’Neill, Northern Ireland first minister, and Emma Little-Pengelly, its deputy first minister, made the remarks at the Ireland Funds national gala, a key part of annual St Patrick’s Day celebrations in the US city.
