No weapons for Israel going through Shannon, Department of Transport confirms

A pro-Palestine group occupied the department this week and demanded a halt to the transportation of weapons bound for Israel through Shannon Airport

No weapons, ammunition or explosives en route from the United States to Israel have passed through Shannon airport this year, the Department of Transport has said.

Earlier this week, Dublin for Gaza, a pro-Palestine protest group, occupied the Department of Transport and demanded Eamon Ryan, the Minister for Transport, to halt any transportation of weapons bound for Israel through Shannon Airport.
