New renters pay almost €250 more per month than sitting tenants, RTB says

New renters are paying 18 per cent more per month than existing tenants, according to data from the Residential Tenancies Board (RTB).

The latest RTB rent index includes data on rent levels in existing tenancies and new tenancies for the first time.
