New environmental targets will require civil service to seek new offices

Activity in the office leasing market is likely to pick-up in the coming months driven by strong demand from the state, as deadlines for complying with its environmental, social and governance (ESG) agenda and carbon emissions reductions move closer.

According to Savills Ireland, the property advisor, 266,000 sq. ft. of take-up of offices across 38 deals took place in the first three months of this year.
